After glueing on a fingerboard with the fret slots cut, I was using a router to trim the board to the neck shape.
Boom! A part of the wood tore out.
After checking Reddit, I decided to try my hand with binding. I used CA glue and a hand-sanded piece of the same material to fill-in a larger section.
You can see the damage if you look for it, but I don't think it turned out too bad.
We'll see how adding frets goes.
